Research on new type of stabilizing device of a dynamic track stabilizer with virtual prototype technology

Abstract:Virtual prototype technology with combination of rigid-flexible coupling multi-body dynamics is applied in this research for the newly developed stabilizing device of the track stabilizer. Virtual prototype of new stabilizing device is modeled using ADAMS software and 3 sets of exciting frequencies and vertical static pressures in the effective working range are introduced in the simulation. Dynamic response of new device is analyzed in both exciting frequency and exciting force aspects and comparison with working parameters of the current stabilizing device under real vehicle operational condition is estimated. Loading history is abstracted for the key part of which further analysis is done by using extended finite element method. Results from simulation and physical prototype agree well. The reliable simulation results can provide a effective reference in dynamic way for the further development and improvement.
