Pseudo-static force analysis of pressure-type cables based on Mindlin basic solution under earthquake

Abstract:In order to accurately study the anchoring mechanism of pressure type cables under earthquake more precisely,the expressions of compressive stress in anchorage section grout and the shear stress between anchorage section grout and contact surface under circular uniform load in a pressure type anchor cable system were derived based on the Mindlin solution. Applying the pseudo-static simplification method to consider the earthquake action effect,the influences of various factors on the anchoring effect of anchor cables were studied. The results show that the Influences of the anchor hole radius,bearing plate radius,angle between the anchor hole direction and horizontal line,prestress and seismic intensity are rather greater,and that of the Poissons ratios of rock and soil mass is rather smaller. The results are benefitial to the seismic design of pressure-type cables and the seismic performance design method of the slope reinforced by pressure-type cables was also provided.
