Abstract:To satisfy the requirement of wind resistance for the Shenyang Tiexi gymnasium, the wind tunnel test for wind pressure distribution is performed. Firstly, the technical parameters used in the test and the basic data processing methods are introduced in detail. Then, the contour curves of mean wind pressures for the most unfavorable conditions, which show clearly the characteristics of wind pressure distributions on the roof of the structure, and the variations of wind pressure for typical measuring points under different wind angles are given to analysis the effect of with and without the interference of the surrounding building. The results show that the upstream interfering building may decrease the mean wind load on the roof of the gymnasium, so do the downstream interfering building, while the parallel interfering building may increase the load. The conclusions may be used as reference for the analysis of wind induced effect of the similar structures.
