To study Frame-Masonry horizontal mixed structure at rural areas of Fujian Province in recent years, a shaking table test for its 1 /2 scale model was carried out base on one real rural structure. dynamic characteristics; test phenomenon and dynamic responses of model structure under different levels of earthquake were measuremented. Furthermore, the structural finite element analysis model is established with ANSYS software, and then the elasto-palstic time-history analysis of the shaking table test model is carried out. Analysis results show that the analytical results are in good agreement with the test results, which verifies the reliability of finite element model, the destruction patterns of masonry section in this type of structure is similar to brick-concrete structure; localized stress concentration occur on the top of RC columns; the misalignment of stiffness-center and mass-center and the lateral stiffness difference between two floors will lead to larger story drifts and structural torsion effect in the first floor under the influence of horizontal seismic action. Combined with poor construction quality, there will be a great hidden danger with this type of structures in earthquake.
