Abstract:Abstract The research about the transverse vibration of axially moving beam with torsion spring, which has randomly-variable spring index at both sides. The transcendental equation and the eigenfunction are established by boundary condition. The first four natural frequencies and corresponding model function are numerically solved. Numerical examples are presented for the natural frequencies and the model function to demonstrate the effect of the constraint stiffness.
