Design and study of two-stage vibration reduction system of airborne gravimeter

Abstract:Usually, the inertial measurement unit of airborne gravimeter is used as a layer of rubber for simple vibration isolation in China, and the equipment is directly mounted on the plane bottom plate. Facing the complex and changeable flight environment, the high frequency vibration of aircraft can’t be effectively isolated, which affects the measurement accuracy. In this paper, vibration parameters are optimized according to vibration theory and measured results. A two-stage vibration isolation system with rubber sponge as first and second stage shock absorbers is designed. The test results show that the vibration energy attenuation in three fixed frequency tests reaches about -60dB, and the vibration energy attenuation in 2-100Hz sweep is about -46dB. The isolation efficiency of the vibration isolation system is above 99.5%, and it is very remarkable.
