Abstract:In order to study the reliability of the powertrain of a heavy-duty truck, a new method of enhancement test correlated with the actual application condition of powertrain cumulative energy based on the typical highway in mountain area is presented, which can combine customer actual usage conditions of vehicles with the enhancement test on the typical highway in mountain area to avoid the blindness of the previous powertrain reliability test. The test data are collected on the typical highway in mountain area and the actual customer roads, and the combined grading matrix of the torque of the power drive shaft to the rotational speed is used to obtain the cumulative energy distribution loading spectrum. According to the straight line equation of the Weibull distribution probability paper and the mathematical model of the powertrain cumulative energy, the total cumulative energy of the four typical customer roads and each actual customer under the failure probability of 90% is calculated by combining the proportion of the roads and vehicle load data in the actual survey, the Weibull distribution function can be checked through the K-S test method, and then the Monte-Carlo method is used to simulate the total energy output of the powertrain of 90% customer. The correlated calculation is conducted on the cumulative energy of the typical highway in mountain areas and 90% customer to obtain the enhancement coefficient and reliability test procedures of the typical highway in mountainous area so as to provide an important basis for scientific evaluation and assessment of the reliability of vehicle powertrain.
