Abstract:Based on the rigid multi-body simulation, the Z axis feed module of a new type of turn-mill combined machine tool is studied considering the flexibility of plate and contact interface. A rigid-flexible model of the Z axis module is established and verified by the sine sweep experiment. Furthermore, by considering the linear motor servo control loop, a modeling method which can study the dynamic charac-teristic of the feed drive system under the influence of rigid-flexible& electrical-mechanical coupling is presented. The simulation results illuminate that the mechanical structure and the servo control loop have a corporate critical influence on the dynamic characteristic of the feed drive system of the machine tool.
