Study on the Debacle and Abrasion of Elastic coating of Hydraulic Turbine

Abstract: Using slanting impact contact model of rigid spherical surface and elastic coating, considering coupling function of normal and shear surface force caused by particles in the impacting process ,the contact dynamic stress of elastic coating surface are analyzed ; The results indicate that the primary factor of abrasion sharp growth is the contact tensile stress of the elastic coating surface, the high speed impact of particles stream may results Surface debacle of elastic coating because the stress wave can not disseminate promptly in elastic coating . According to the analysis conclusion, corresponding different jet angle ,the limit velocity that causes abrasion sharp growth of elastic coating is computed in the scope of 39-68m/s, the difference between theoretical analysis and experimental results about 10%.
