Abstract: Based on the theory of pipeline acoustics, the method of noise simulation of intake systems of an engine——no-source-method has been brought forward; based on the parameterized model of quarter wave tuner, the method of dynamic optimization design of intake systems of an engine has been studied. Applying no-source-method, while the emulation model of an engine could not be provided, the acoustic property DOE analysis of intake systems could be carried through however, and applying response-face method the design parameters of quarter wave tuner could be optimized, this provides a reference for acoustic property optimization of intake systems.
