Abstract:In engineering signal processing, parameters of the signal often beyond the requirements of adiabatic approximation or linear response theory of stochastic resonance. The paper discusses the mechanism and condition requirements of stochastic resonance of nonlinear bistable system, and the frequency modulation combined with the theory of stochastic resonance. Modulated stochastic resonance is used to achieve weak signal detection in engineering applications, the numerical simulation is conducted to prove its effectiveness, and the method is also used to detect pitting corrosion of bearing inner race.
