Abstract: Differential resonator is a kind of periodic signal detection method, but its phase diagram becomes fuzzy in strong noise background. In order to get the clear phase diagram, the convergence time of differential resonator is calculated by the mathematical model of the resonator, and the relationship between the convergence time and the resonator parameter is derived. Based on this relationship, clearer phase diagram can be drawn and the principle of selecting the resonator parameters is proposed. The advantages of the method are validated by theoretical analysis, MATLAB numerical simulation and experiments.
