Abstract:To investigate the vibration problems of beam-plate built-up structure in the mid-frequency domain, a vibro-acoustic testing was performed in the reverberation room. The measured acceleration responses of the structure were obtained and analyzed to update a developed hybrid FE-SEA model. The hybrid FE-SEA predictions showed a good agreement with experimental results. The non-resonant and resonant sound transmission rule between the external acoustic field and internal acoustic cavity were then extracted. The conclusion of the paper validates that the hybrid FE-SEA approach is a reliable and effective method for the mid-frequency vibration problems of beam-plate built–up structure.
