Drop study on item packaging system with an elastic element critical component of simply supported beam type

Abstract:Abstract: Based on critical component of simply supported beam type, the nonlinear coupling dynamics calculating model between the critical component and item is established. The model is solved by using difference method. Numerical example shows the change of acceleration with length of the critical component is notable, and the stress of the center of the component is maximum. Whether the stress of the midpoint surpasses proportional limit of the elastic critical component becomes an effective criterion to judge failure of the product. In order to avoid error, it is required to consider the effect of the critical component.
