The high-speed motorized spindle is a complex electromechanical coupling sys-tem which is high-order, intensively decoupled, and nonlinear. It is driven by a built-in motor di-rectly, thus, the control effect of the built-in motor has a direct impact on the dynamic perform-ance of high-speed motorized spindle. This paper systematically studied the characteristics of various control strategies, and established a dynamic mathematical model of the spindle; with fo-cus on U / f control and vector control, experiments are carried out for researching the dynamic relationship between control accuracy and mechanical parameters, which can provide an experi-mental basis and analysis method for improving the dynamic performance and looking for opti-mization control strategies. The future development tendency of the control technologies of high-speed motorized spindle is prospected finally.
