Dynamic characteristics test on single-layer reticulated dome
In order to measure dynamic characteristics of single-layer reticulated dome when conduct shaking table test. This paper first carries out the acquisition test of noise to eliminate large variety of environment noise interference around the shaking table; and then, the amplitude of white noise and fast sine sweep which is used to measure the dynamic characteristics is defined using the responses of the model under their different amplitudes; in addition, hammering method is also used to measure dynamic characteristics of the model. And then its results are analyzed using random decrement technique combined with HHT method. It can be found from test results that the frequencies of single-layer reticulated dome is intensive and the environment noise interference should be eliminated for their large effect on the test results. The results of dynamic characteristics are almost identical using the above three methods. Finite element model simulating the dynamic characteristics using ABAQUS is completed. Comparison results show that numerical results are in good agreement with test results which indicate that dynamic characteristics can be accurate simulate using ABAQUS based on accurate numerical model. The mentioned above lays the foundation for the further shaking table test and anti-performance research on reticulated shells.
