Abstract

The improved Wigner-Ville distribution (WVD) used under stable distribution --the Fractional Lower Order Wigner-Ville distribution (FLOWVD) has been studied, and it is proposed a method of time-frequency monitoring on machinery in impulsive noise environment based on FLOWVD. By artificial signal and actual signal, the results show that: FLOWVD has a more noise immunity、higher value for using、more extensive application than WVD, and so it is a powerful tool to analyze time-frequency characteristic. The research shows that some of characteristic of statistical distribution of the vibration signal of the mechanical equipment running in the scene obeys Fractional Lower Order stable distribution, too.
