Research on Fatigue Life Prediction of Welded Structure Based on Modal Superposition Method
For welded structure fatigue life prediction, a method of dynamic structural calculation which based on mode superposition method was proposed from dynamics perspective. The feasibility and accuracy of this method were verified. This method is based on the dynamic equilibrium of weld structure under time-varying loads, considering the effects of vibration acceleration of structure on structural stress which is used to predict the fatigue life of weld structure, dynamic structural stress calculations of welded structures under dynamic loading was realized.  Applications of the master S-N curve fatigue prediction methods was broaden effectively.
