Study of Constrained Damping Dynamic Absorber on the Rail of Urban Transit
Abstract: Wheel-rail noise plays a dominant part in the overall noise of urban railway transportation. It is a key issue for reducing wheel-rail noise to restrain the vibration velocity of rail. Most current techniques are not effective enough for reducing wheel-rail, especially for the components with the frequency lower than 500Hz, which make great contribution to the acoustic noise pollution on the zone along railway. Based on the damping rail and dynamic absorber, a novel constrained damping dynamic absorber for railway is developed, which lower limitation of effective frequency band is only 200 Hz. The results of application in engineering show that the noise on the normal railway reduces near 4dB(A), and on platform reduces near 2~3dB(A). This constrained damping dynamic absorber is easy to be stuck on the rail, and has no negative effect to the communication function of railway, vehicle running and supersonic detecting damage of rail.
