Abstract

Abstract :The paper describes the ¯eld ambient vibration testing on a prestressed concrete continuous box-girders, named Yongyang canal super bridge. The operational modal analysis (OMA) based on the frequency and spatial domain decomposition (FSDD) are used for the output-only data model identi¯cation, and the dynamic characteristics (natural frequencies and mode shapes) of above bridge are got. The full three-dimensional ¯nite element model of the above bridge is established and updated based on the above results using genetic algorithm. The baseline ¯nite element model
of the above bridge is got, which re°ects the bridge structural dynamicconditions and can serve as a baseline in the long-term health monitoring, condition evaluation and damage identi¯cation of the bridge in service.
