Abstract

Summary: Taking the stadium of Mongol Wuhai Olympic center as project background, by adopting wind tunnel test with synchronously measured pressure on the rigidity model, we have studied the interference effects between two coverings with different altitude, including total wind suction, the distribution of average and fluctuating wind pressure coefficients, and the wind pressure power spectrum of main test points, etc. The results manifest that the interference of the higher canopy roof to the lower is significant on some angles, and it mainly affect as ‘cover effect’; The interference of lower canopy roof to the higher is the same, but not as obviously as the effect that the interference of the higher canopy roof to the lower .

Key words
