Abstract

There are many local optimization solutions to optimize the mounting system of automotive powertrain with traditional optimum algorithms. Therefore genetic algorithm was taken advantage of to overcome this fault and the corresponding program was compiled in the MATLAB software with the six-degree-freedom kinetic energy decoupling level of the automotive powertrain mounting system taken as the objective function, stiffness of each mounting served as the design variable and the arrangement of the natural frequency system as well as the displacement control of powertrain under each operating condition taken into account. ADAMS software system was used to verify the natural frequencies and kinetic energy distribution of the powertrain mounting system before and after the optimization, and the posture of powertrain mounting system in static equilibrium was checked. The results show that the global optimal solution of the mounting system derived from the genetic algorithm is obtained reliably and the decoupling effect of powertrain mounting system after optimization has become better.
