Abstract

The dynamic model of a cracked centrifugal Impeller-rotor with both nonlinear lateral fluid force and nonlinear oil-film force is built and dimensionless equations of the system are derived. The system’s bifurcation characteristics are studied using the numerical integral method. The influence of the nonlinear lateral fluid force and the depth of the crack on the system’s dynamic characteristics are analyzed in detail in the last part of the paper.
