Abstract

The rolling piston compressor is used widely in the industry and household electric appliances. Lowering the level of noise and vibration is becoming a critical target for product designing. In this paper, the noise and vibration characteristics of a rolling piston compressor is analyzed by wave superposition combined with the track sampling method. The signals are scanning-measured by Müller-BBM system, including 23 channels of pressure signals and one channel of displacement signal of the compressor vane which reflects the rolling phase. The pressure signals are analyzed piecewise in the whole 360 degrees and the results will be used to reconstruct the vibro-acoustic field. The reconstruction shows the vibration and sound information in the different segments. This research offers a new way to analyze the sound sources which is running circularly.
