Abstract

A new type of liquid-conveying pipeline elbow is studied in the paper, its solid-liquid coupling dynamic characteristics are numerically simulated, the influences of structural parameters of its guide plates on the guide characteristics are analyzed, and based on it the strength and rigidity of the liquid-conveying pipeline elbow are calibrated. The results show that the internal total pressure difference in the original pipeline elbow without the guide plates is 29506.27Pa, the maximum deformation is 2.0689×10-5m, the deformation mode of its texturing is that the texture is elongated in both sides, concave in the middle and shows a double oval, the deformation leads to the flare-out effect on the elbow. When the guide plates are designed according to the gold ratio, the number, the radius and the length of the guide plates are 2, 200mm and 40mm respectively, the internal total pressure difference is 10707Pa, which is decreased by 63.71% compared with the result of the original pipeline elbow without the guide plates, its maximum deformation is 3.3039×10-4m, this optimal structure is also meet the strength and rigidity requirement, the radian of the guide plate leads to the guide plates offset to the outer flank.
