Abstract

Abstract A SEA model of one compressor’s exhaust piping system was established in this paper based on statistical energy analysis (SEA) theory and actual size. In the method developed, the theoretical and experiential results were used to estimate the parameters of SEA and the input power was obtained from the pipe shell acceleration measurement. The sound pressure level at certain distance from out piping system is analyzed by using the software AutoSEA2004, and then compared with the results from the site testing. The comparison result show that the calculation value of piping system’s noise level is 102.7dBA,which is lower than the test value by 4.2 dB; The predictive curve accords with the actual at main frequency band of 500Hz. The simulation results provide the numeral simulation basis for the piping system noise control.

Key words
