Abstract

To confirm the value triggered threshold of the seismograph of earthquake warning system for the Beijing-Tianjin railway, the ground vibrations of pier foundations induced by the high-speed train are tested. The acceleration attenuation law and frequency characteristic are obtained by frequency spectrum analysis and the method of least squares. The results show that values of acceleration rapidly decrease and the vertical value more rapidly than horizontal value in the distance of 10 meters from pier, but slowly decrease in the distance more than 10 meters, and vertical and horizontal attenuation are similar. It also shows that the horizontal main frequency is 37Hz,and the vertical value is 41Hz,far more than the value in the theory, and seismograph can not triggered in the distance of 70 meters from pier.
