Abstract

Multi-component admittance function about typical streamline box girder was identified using correlation spectrum method in wind tunnel testing, then its precision and engineering application were validated basing on 2-D buffeting frequency domain algorithm and sectional model vibration-measured tests in wind tunnel. Combining sensitivity algorithm in reliability theory, buffeting response contribution distribution about some key parameters, such as wind velocity, model geometric size, static wind loads coefficient, admittance function component and flutter derivatives, etc., were evaluated and compared systematically, and some new understanding and conclusions about traditional buffeting aerodynamic expression were illustrated.
