Abstract

The Residual Stress and Thickness Changes in Stamping of auto-body parts will effect in the modal and inherence frequency of Auto-Body Structure significantly. But it was usually neglected in the FEM modal analysis today. This neglect will result in differences of the analysis and practice station by used. A grid mapping method was proposed to consider the forming results and impose the residual stress as initial stress. The study results indicate that the analysis which including forming effects is more approached to the test. And then, the sensitivity analysis and optimization on car body was proposed based on the forming effects.
