Abstract

The exceptional vibration phenomenon of the F2 stand in two stand reversing cold mill while rolling caused cross striations on the surface of sheet steel
and backup roll. Field integrated testing, analysis of signals and theoretical research，and computer simulation were made to ascertain the reason of this exceptional vibration and advance the measures to restrain the vibration.
