Abstract

The structural of machine-gun mount should be optimized to improve firing accuracy. There is some limitation in structural optimization based on CAE software, so a new method that combines BP neural networks with genetic algorithms is presented. The structural of machine-gun mount is optimized in this paper based on the method and finite element of machine gun. The result shows that the new method can be used in multi- variables of machine-gun mount’s optimization, and it supplies a new method for other complex structure’s optimization.
