Abstract

The analysis method of vehicle-structure interacted system under breaking force is studied. The vehicle subsystem is modeled by the rigid-body dynamics method, the structure subsystem is modeled by the modal superposition method. The longitudinal, lateral and vertical wheel-rail interacted forces are defined by the given breaking acceleration history, the simplified Kalker Creep Theory and the Wheel-rail Corresponding Assumption, respectively. The equations of motion are solved by the history integral method and the force-motion iterations within time steps. As a case study, the dynamic responses of the Shenzhen North Station under the braking of the Metro Line 4 and Line 6 trains are calculated, and the vibration properties of some key structural parts in the station building are analyzed and evaluated.
