Abstract
A car-pedestrian accident reconstruction method based on Pc-Crash was proposed. In this method, Pc-Crash is used as a simulation platform, the accident scene and the car-pedestrian multi-body model will be constructed firstly, and then accidents will be simulated according to contact positions of car-pedestrian and rest positions of car and pedestrian; after that, the rationality of simulation results will be validated by some other accident information, e.g., human body injury; finally, uncertainty of simulation results will be evaluated by uncertainty analysis methods. The steps of this method were given in a car-pedestrian accident case. In this case, all accident information was used reasonably, and the distribution of accident reconstruction result was obtained with the help of response surface method and Monte Carlo method. The case shows that reconstruction results from this method are more objective, and more efficient information for accident survey can obtained from these results.
