Abstract

Based on the closed-up control strategy of acceleration time-delay feedback, a dynamics model of a piezoelectric-coupling flexible cantilever beam is set up. We obtain the stability condition and analysis method for the system by condcuting the modal analysis and free vibration trivial solutions analysis. We also consider the condition of piezoelectric coupling and time delay, then present a specific example to proof the previous stability condition and analysis. The example shows that ignoring time-delay unreasonably can cause the system respond divergently, while a reasonable amount of time-delay can also be used to improve the efficiency of vibration control
