Abstract

Aiming at ship vibration brought about by wet-deck bottom slamming when it is sailing on waves ,a study on dynamic response of SWATH under slamming load has been done. Slamming load that varied with space and time is obtained by applying relative motion between ship and waves, then the numerical calculation of dynamic response is performed. The distribution law of deformation and stress is analyzed for discussing the characteristic of load impacting on the structure. Compared with the static slamming response, an effective strength design criterion of wet-deck is discussed, which can be used as reference in the structure design of SWATH
