Abstract

A kind of middle-frequency transducer with great direction is proposed and designed. It is a sandwich transducer with complex transformer. Base on the electro-mechanical equivalent circuit theory, the model of sandwich transducer has been build, and the frequency equation is deduced. Considering the influence of the latten electrodes on the density and the equivalent sound velocity, a modification of this equation is given out using the equivalent parameter theory. Transducers are prepared to validate this modification, the error between the calculation and the experimental results reduces from 2.09% (before modification) to 0.64% (after modification).
