Abstract

Abstract:. Based on the second order polynomial variation of Yang’s modulus with temperature, the stiffness matrix of rotor finite element was derived, the finite element model considering the axial temperature distribution of rotor was obtained. A simple rotor model was analyzed under axial temperature uniform distribution, linear distribution and second polynomial distribution, the variation of first two critical speeds were analyzed. Results shown that, with the consideration of the influence of axial temperature distribution on rotor stiffness matrix, this model could improve the expected results of rotor critical speeds with rotor working under high temperature.
