Abstract

Abstract: A new method for ultimate bearing capacity analysis of nonlinear dynamics of tall frames is proposed. First of all,the QR method for nonlinear dynamic analysis of tall frames is introduced,it has great advantages over finite element method to analyse dynamic problems of tall frames and large complicated structure. Next,the new model for nonlinear dynamic analysis of tall frames is established by double nonlinear dynamic theory and QR methods,overcoming the defects of analyzing nonlinear dynamic problems of tall frames and large complicated structures by finite element method. Third,new algorithm for nonlinear dynamic analysis of structures is found by spline weighted residual method,it is a new algorithm of unconditioned stability and it is more superior than Wilson-θ method and Newmark method. At last,the computing program for nonlinear dynamic analysis of tall frames is compiled by VC++ language,some examples are computed,the computing results showed the new method is a powerful economic method.
