Research on the Editing Method of Accelerative Fatigue Test Spectrum on Rubber Isolators

Abstract

A data sheet of dynamic-static ratio and a data sheet of fatigue life under different test conditions were obtained by abundant dynamic-static stiffness tests and fatigue tests. Taking the dynamic characteristics of rubber isolators into account, a conversion relationship between road load and strain of engine mount was built. According to the Miner theory of linear damage accumulation and the damage equivalent principle, an Accelerative Fatigue Test Spectrum(AFTS) was worked out by editing road loading spectrum which was dealt with rain-flow method. Some fatigue tests of engine mount were carried out using the AFTS. The results show that the AFTS is effective in doing fatigue test for rubber isolator. And the time of fatigue test and product exploitation is cut dawn obviously.
