Study on dynamic force estimation problem with structural model errors

Abstract

When dynamic force estimation techniques are applied to real engineering, the estimation results are affected in addition by the white noise in measured responses, but also the difference between the numerical model and the real engineering model. This paper founds a dynamic force estimation model addressed the errors associated with the measured responses and structural model in time domain, and a regularization technique based on total least squares method is used to solve this dynamic force estimation model. Numerical test results demonstrate that under certain conditions, this method can reduce the impact of these errors.
