Abstract

Taking a heavy machine gun as research object, a new type elastic gun tripod is designed on the basis of gun-body unchanged. The finite element model of gun is established to analyze the inherence characteristics; the virtual prototype model of coupling of multiple rigid-body and flex-body is established to obtain the muzzle dynamic response in the repeated-shots condition. The results are compared with that of original gun tripod, and the new tripod is testified better.
