Abstract

According to the natural frequencies and modal damping parameters of the structural system, an input shaper based on zero-placement is designed and used to suppress the residual vibration. Through the dynamics response simulation of the finite element model of the solar array, it is verified that shaped rotation input function to drive the attitude adjustment of the solar array can suppress the residual vibration, and have a better robustness. At last, the zero-placement input shaper which can reduce efficiently the residual vibration is verified experimentally through the scaled model of the solar array.
