Abstract
Order tracking analysis approach is used to research the whine noise of a certain manual gearbox in this article. Firstly, in the uniform angle interval resampling algorithm of order tracking, piecewise cubic Hermite polynomial is proposed to use to fit the input-shaft revolving speed curve instead of traditional least square method polynomial, then it is integrated to get input-shaft angle expression of gearbox, which improves the accuracy of revolving speed fitting and order tracking analysis. Then, short-time Fourier transform(STFT) is applied in order tracking analysis. Finally, vehicle test for whine noise is also carried out. According to the subjective evaluation experience of gearbox noise test, the phenomenon of whine noise in 2nd gear is analyzed and researched quantitatively.
