Abstract
Experimental studied the normal stiffness and damping characteristics of oil-bearing porous-media fixed joint interface. Adopted a per unit area parameter identification method of equivalent single degree of freedom (SDOF) with an adjustment coefficient to identify the required parameters. Using the relative displacement, the method takes any vibration system with arbitrary mass m equivalent to the standards single degree of freedom system with mass Me, and identifies the stiffness and damping coefficients of joint interface conveniently and rapidly with high identification accuracy. Though the method mentioned above, the stiffness and damping is identified in the joint interface combined with 45 steel or oil-bearing porous-media respectively. By comparing the results, it is shown that the oily porous-media joint interface have the dynamic characteristics better than non-media steel ones, In the case of same pre-load, the former’s stiffness increases by about 30%, and the damping increases about 5-6 times meanwhile.
