Abstract

Since nonlinearity and complexity problems existed in the seismic response of bridge structure, a improved Kriging-based response surface method for bridge dynamic reliability analysis was proposed. The Kriging model was treated as the response surface function by using its excellent modeling capabilities, and improved by self-adaption strategy. Then the impulse response of filter method was adopted as the discrete method for discretization of random seismic excitation, and the dynamic limit state function was established based on the definition of first excursion reliability problem. Finally the proposed method was utilized to analyze the bridge structural first excursion dynamic reliability problem under random seismic excitation. The calculation results show that: the proposed improved Kriging-based response surface method can effectively complete the bridge seismic reliability analysis(including the influence which induced by the randomness of structural parameters to the bridge seismic reliability), and the calculation results have high accuracy and efficiency.
