Abstract

Both theoretical study and experiment were carried out to identify Orifice characteristic parameters in internal pressure transfer equation for opening structures as well as to find out load factors that affect them。Based on the general internal pressure transfer equation with two parameters, special device was used to investigate effects of amplitude and frequency of external load on those parameters. Then, identification method used to estimate characteristic parameters under excitation of outer harmonic load was applied to generalize an new way suitable for condition of random load. By comparing to optimum solution of the parameters in different opening conditions, the reliability of above theory can be examined. At meanwhile, error may caused by this evaluation method was explained and corresponding solution was proposed. The research showed that this new identification method can predict the Orifice characteristic parameters CI and CL accurately.
