Abstract

A dynamical model of a water lubricated rubber alloy bearings system under low speed and heavy duty was established. Complex modal analysis method was used to analyze the friction-induced noises with different friction coefficient, load and speed. Results indicate that the systemic stability reduced and more frequently of vibration noise occurred with increasing friction coefficient, but both the load and speed have less impact for friction-induced noises. Finally, a comparison was made between the calculated and experimental results, it has been shown that the calculated model is reasonable, and it helps in reduced the vibration noise.
