Abstract

In this paper, the vertical dynamics model of carbody and equipment coupling is built to study different influences of carbody vibration between rigid suspension design of equipments and flexible suspension design of equipments. Results show that flexible suspension design can effectively suppress elastic vibration of carbody. In order to study the matching relation between suspension parameters of equipments and carbody structure, the Hybrid Multibody Dynamics model of EMU is set up based on the modal superposition method, considering carbody elastic vibration and equipments. This paper deals with the influence of equipments partial load and suspension parameters on carbody vibration. It is observed that lateral partial load affects the lateral ride index of carbody and longitudinal partial load mainly affects the vertical ride index. When flexible suspension frequency of equipments is close to carbody bend frequency, the minimum vibration of carbody occurs. But as suspension frequency of equipments is less than carbody bend frequency, rising damping can suppress the carbody vibration.
