Abstract

The flutter performance of plate section was studied by wind tunnel tests. The flutter process was simulated by using of CFD numerical method based on the loosely coupled. The evolution law about Vortex near the rear nozzle of model in the flutter. Critical state was studied using the method of phase-average. The effect of alternating vortex near the rear wind lips leaded to the vibration of model until the structural divergence. The features of energy input and the aerodynamic distribution during the flutter were researched by adopting block analysis. The reach show that the model absorbed a lot of energy through the windward side nozzle from the air and in a complete vibration cycle, the energy input to the vibration of the system increased resulting in the sudden loss of structural stability.
