Abstract

With the consideration of backlash, transmission error, time-varying mesh stiffness nonlinear factors in gear system, nonlinear gear mesh force and nonlinear oil film force of journal bearing were considered synchronously, the dynamic model of confluence transmission geared rotor bearing system was proposed. From rotating speed, nonlinear dynamic response of gear system was researched, coupling between nonlinear gear mesh force and nonlinear oil film force was discussed, oil film’s stability with the change of rotating speed was judged. The result indicated that with the change of rotating speed the system showed periodic one motion, periodic two motion,quasi- periodic motion and chaos motion ,the road from quasi- periodic bifurcation to chaos was founded; with the increase of rotating speed, nonlinear gear mesh force and nonlinear oil film force played a leading role in the system vibration successively;oil film vibration lost stability through half frequency whirling motion.
